A lovely warm teahouse with a stove instead of the usual freezing aircon that so many places have now. Had a cream tea which was very good and it was lovely to feel warm and relaxed whilst enjoying the goodies.....Will be back whenever I am down in the area. Very good service.
Very good. Pea soup with crusty bread and some goats cheese. Hot and tasty. The tea room is in the traditional style. The hosts were welcoming and service was quick.
Very pleasant surroundings and friendly efficient service. The style and decor has been very well thought out giving just the right amount of vintage meets quality meets cleanliness and daintiness. Very enjoyable experience. My scone was warm from the oven and as light as a feather
We visited in mid afternoon having missed our lunch elsewhere! We opted for the cream tea, very reasonably priced. Two large scones, jam and an indecent quantity of cream (just managed to get it all piled on the scones!). Tea served in proper cups and saucers, silver teapot and real milk in a jug. We arrived just as a large number of people arrived at once, but despite that the service was fast, friendly and efficient. I think we will be going again when in the area! A few tables inside, and more outside in a nice little garden. Recommended!
Love this place. Sat out in garden but lovely seating indoors too. Very nice food and drink. Had tea in a silver teapot and bone China tea cups. Just a very nice experience.
