Lovely bed and breakfast to stay for a short trip in the countryside. I attended a wedding nearby and stayed here overnight. The staff are friendly, the house is well maintained and while the rooms definitely show their age, it's a charm and style that suites this farmhouse manor. The gardens outside have plenty of seating if the weather is nice. The fry up in the morning was great and I'd stay here again if my business brought me this way.

Very nice hotel and quieter than expected being on the main road which is a busy one. Lovely garden. Missed out on their restaurant as its not open on Sundays and Mondays. Room was fine, the bed firm. Good breakfast. Would go back if in the region.

Just perfect! Superb service and the most delicious food, David and Clive always ensure a wonderful evening. Thank you!

Stayed for the night with dinner. The atmosphere here is just unbelievable, a little place out of time but with all comforts. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed is very comfortable.Dinner was outstanding, from the starters (we had the trio of pates, very well presented and delicate, and the leek and bacon pie - which was sublime but could have made without the tomato sauce). We then had a very good sweet potato soup, and meat mains - an extremely tender pork roulade with a great chestnut sauce, and guinea fowl, which we also loved.Desserts too were great, both the chocolate praline and the frozen citrus - delicate but definitely tasty, the perfect way to end the meal.Liked that there were different options for half bottles of wine - the wine list isn't huge, but for such a small place it is probably not possible to have more.Breakfast was great too - coffe, jam, marmalade and toast were great - full English is available too!We definitely recommend this place - make sure you have the full b&b experience!

Dinner here with three friends. Excellent menu, very tasty food with excellent serice. Highly recommended.
